Marylin Alarcon is a Lead R&D Engineer at SoftServe, with 15+ years of full-stack development and AI in production since 2018. Based in Medellin, Colombia, she runs WhateverAI, an AI automation studio serving businesses in legal, medical and aesthetic, agency, and field services.
Her focus is the stretch where most pilots fall apart: getting AI systems into environments where failure is expensive, with guardrails, evaluation, and cost built into the design instead of patched in at the end. The question she finds most useful is not what to automate but what not to.
Outside work she builds and ships products: AgentX, SEO Engine, WhateverOPS, Centinela, BuildLoud, Continuum, and more. At hackathons she competes solo, builds end to end, and has won.
